Hey ya'll!!!
My name is Brook Fisher, nice to meet you!! I'm an independent cosmetologist and manager of Beauty Marks Ink. Salon in Murray, KY.
I grew up in Greenville, KY, and moved to Murray is 2015 to attend Murray State University. Through my senior year of high school into my sophomore year at Murray State, I was also attending beauty college, getting licensed in early 2017. Throughout my undergraduate and graduate degrees, I was able to work in a couple salons to gain an abundance of knowledge and experience.
Ashley Collins, Beauty Marks Ink., purchased Beauty Marks Ink. Salon in 2020, and invited me to join her as a suite renter and salon manager. We opened our doors in February 2021, and it has been a dream ever since.
In 2019, I graduated with my Bachelors in Social Work, then in 2020, I graduated from Western Kentucky University with my Masters in Social Work. During my education, I was able to work for a high school youth service center and a children's advocacy/sexual assault crisis center. These experiences allowed me to become a trauma / mental health informed professional, providing a safe place for anyone who sits in my chair.
I specialize in "lived in" hair color, including balayage, highlights, color melts, etc., while also providing an erray of services from haircutting, to styling, makeup, brow laminations, and more!

At this time, these are the services I offer. Some things to remember: You must be at least 15 years of age to book, which means I will no longer service children under that age. I also no longer offer short haircuts (from the chin up) unless we already have an arrangement. If you have any questions about your booking, please contact me with pictures of your current hair and some inspiration photos. and yes… I LOVE PICTURES!

Hair Cuts

We love a good cut! Come relax with a full shampoo, cut and style, or swing by for a quick trim on your lunch break.

Highlights / Lowlights / Full or Partial

Highlights are when stylists weave or slice each piece of hair, put it in a foil and place the lightener as close to the scalp without actually touching. A full highlight is when you foil the entire bed, and a partial is when only the hairline and part are foiled. You can also do lowlights with color rather than lightener.

Balayage

A balayage is a technique where stylists will paint a section of hair without totally saturating all the way through, and feather it up. This gives a soft, natural sun kissed look to your hair.

Platinum Card

A platinum card is when you foil every piece of hair on the head and lighten the scalp with lightener also. This leaves 0 dimension.

Root Smudge / Color Melt

A root smudge or color melt is when a stylist will use a demi permanent color on the "roots" to blend or darken that area, and will sometimes that that melt down into lighter hair colors towards the mids and ends of hair for more dimensional looks.

All Over Color / Root Touch Up

A color is different than a lightener. This is only if you want to put one color all over your head that is the same as your current color or darker. If you want one solid color, but one that's lighter than your current color, we would have to lighten with highlights.

Toner / Demi-Permanent/ Root Color

Toner is a demi-permanent hair color that fades the more you wash it. You can usually change up colors each appointment because the majority of your previous toner has faded off. This can be used over highlights to correct the tone, or can be used as a darker color.

Half Highlight / Half Color

This service is when you would want mostly one color all over which matched your natural color or darker, and add a face frame (money piece) and a few highlights to give dimension.

All Over Lighter Color / Fashion Color

If you are wanting to be one solid color(s), but you currently have a darker color than what you want, we would have to lighten your hair all over, pre-tone or "fill" the hair with correct undertones, then apply the final color all over. This can be a lengthy process.

Wedding Styling and Makeup

Your wedding day is one of the biggest and happiest days of your life, so you don’t want to stress about you and your bridal party looking and feeling your best! Let me come to your venue, pamper you, and relax! Make sure you fill out your event form, contract and invoice to ensure your wedding day spot!

Brow Lamination & Tint

Brow lamination is where you relax the brow hairs in the placemat of your liking to provide a fuller, thicker brow effect that will last 6-8 weeks at a time! No more messing with brow gels or soaps to keep your brows in place all day!
